Recently, eighteen Canterbury principals from eTime’s 'Experienced Principals Development Programme' visited Auckland schools. The tour provided all participants with an excellent opportunity to observe a range of leadership models in highly successful schools, to network and grow professional relationships, and to reflect and challenge their own leadership capability.

The schools visited were selected because they provided a variety of settings and needs. They ranged from decile one to ten, from state to catholic integrated and also across a range of ethnic groups. This diversity enabled tour participants to analyse and synthesise commonalities demonstrated by successful school leaders.

All in all a wonderful learning experience for a dedicated group of Canterbury principals.
