School GAT Support

eTime supports schools to review and develop their Gifted and Talented programmes, ensuring that they are consistent with MOE guidelines and the revised curriculum. Professional development can be provided through staff meetings, part or whole-day workshops, in-class modelling and parent education evenings. This can include:

School-wide audit of current practices and recommendations for
future development;
Policy and documentation writing;
Planning school-wide programmes;
Defining and identifying gifted children;
Understanding the academic and affective needs of gifted students;
Differentiating learning;
Assisting teachers to challenge gifted learners while improving achievement for
all students;
Teaching gifted students in the regular classroom;
Providing practical ideas to enhance teacher capacity.
