Music Video Production 5 - 7 October During this three day programme each child will experience the exciting roles of producer, director, composer, musician and star! The children will learn how to produce a unique music track and will combine this with digital footage to create a music video. Within a small group, children will use Garageband to compose their own piece of music. Groups will learn about musical composition and creative use of track effects. They will also capture video and still footage that will provide a visual accompaniment to their song. Lighting, composition, timelapse, stop-motion animation, and photography techniques will be explored. iMovie will then be used to edit footage and combine it with music to create a contemporary music video. This will be recorded onto DVD and be presented complete with album artwork and an artist biography. On the final day friends and family will be invited to eTime to watch the premiere viewing on eTime’s large screen.
